What others have to say

Marvin Afo

Product Designer

I had Laura on my team during the Brain Station UX Bootcamp where we pushed through 12, sixty hour work weeks of collaborative design sprints. Half way through the program she earned the moniker "president." She was a top earner in our class but never failed to look back and help those sitting next to her or all the way at the back of the class. Even when her own work was due, she'd find a way to help a colleague and still finish her work in time. She's very task oriented and encouraging. I'm grateful to have been on a Laura led team. I've learned a lot about being a leader by watching her.

Louis Guarino

UX Designer

Laura is a gift to the world. Her ability to be honest and stern while still remaining soft and compassionate is a balance many people fail to achieve. As one of my teachers during my UX Design bootcamp, she went above an beyond her call of duty to make sure we, my classmates and I, were taken care of, knew what needed to be done, and provided phenomenal feedback after every single assignment. She was able to teach me things in Figma that stressed me out and made learning fun. She takes large topics and makes them bite-sized and manageable. I don't know who needs to read this (ok, maybe I do) but Laura will be an absolute rocket helping blast your team into a stratosphere you didn't know what possible and would be an asset (a word we use too loosely) on a team. She is that damn good.

Deniz Gokseven

Senior Consultant

Laura was our TA during our BrainStation UX Bootcamp. She is a wonderful educator who is highly knowledgeable and incredibly patient. She’ll walk you through the solution to your question in a way that’s easy for the individual to understand. She’s very humble and very pleasant to learn from. Thank you so much Laura for all of your support and kindness! Without you, the UX Bootcamp wouldn’t be the same!
